Who we are
This website is run by Nisarg Vidnyan Mandal, Nagpur ("NiViM", "we"), a registered society and public trust at 138, Kalpataru, Mahalaxmi Nagar 2, Manewada Road, Nagpur 440024. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- When you write to us or fill a form: your name, email, phone number and anything you write in the message.
- When you donate: your name, address, PAN, and the amount and date of your gift, so we can issue an 80G receipt and keep accounts as the law requires.
- When you volunteer: your city and the ways you would like to help.
- When you browse: basic, anonymous visit statistics. We do not use advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and keep in touch about the request you made.
- To issue donation receipts and meet our income tax, FCRA and audit duties.
- To match volunteers to activities.
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website, forms and accounts, and with authorities when the law requires.
These are the services that handle your data for us. Messages you send through the forms on this site are delivered to our email inbox byWeb3Forms, a form delivery service. The website is hosted onCloudflare. Our email runs on Gmail.
How long we keep it
Donation records are kept for as long as tax and FCRA rules require. Enquiry and volunteer details are deleted when they are no longer needed, or when you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to netravanvg@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Photographs
Photographs on this site come from our own field work. If you appear in a photograph and want it removed, write to us and we will take it down.
